To meet these requirements, the Mostre design team utilized OCTANORM® aluminum extrusions to create the overall exhibit design and the physical attributes of the Tower, Workstation & Reception Walls.
Both square and rectangular extrusions provided support for the fabric graphics that form the surface of the exhibit; within the OCTANORM® framework of the exhibit design.
The custom designed graphics were printed on fabric with sewn-in gaskets; and was then pressure-fit into the grooves of the aluminum extrusion. Opaque fabric was featured in the tower and the wall directly behind the reception area; while printed 'see-through' sheer fabric was positioned within the workstation frames to retain the open feel of the exhibit design and the environment.
Message and text was then applied to frosted acrylic panels; that were mounted to the aluminum extrusion with OCTANORM®'s panel retainers. The frosted side of the acrylic faced forward to cut down on glare from lighting; while reverse-cut vinyl was applied to the back shinny side of the acrylic. This method gave the normally 'flat' vinyl-cut letters a 3-Dimensional look; and accomplished the 'layer effect' requested by Blue Coat and Guerilla Suit.
Maple laminate on the counters and stage combined beautifully with the aluminum extrusion, custom fabric graphics and existing hanging sign to create a very warm, inviting and effective environment for Blue Coat at the recent RSA & Interop Shows.
